This 200mm cable is specifically designed for MIPI displays and the Raspberry Pi 5. The Raspberry Pi 5 is equipped with two four-lane MIPI connectors, each capable of supporting either a camera or a display. These connectors use a 22-way, 0.5mm-pitch “mini” FPC format, similar to the Compute Module Development Kit. To connect to the 15-way, 1mm-pitch “standard” connectors on our current camera and display products, adapter cables are necessary.
Important: The display cable should not be used with a camera, and vice versa. We offer both types of cables. Raspberry Pi brand cameras and displays will continue to include the old style cable until further notice.
